The beginnings of civilization. Thanks to coworker Kate, I now have five tomato plants valiantly trying to grow in the eastern section of the garden. She gave me some sage, too, which is just to the right in the southern arm of the garden along with the tarragon and the oregano.

Not a whole lot of posting going on
I've been busy, what with moving and all. Also, given the events that led up to my finding and buying a house, I haven't really been in the mood to regale the innernets with (1) whining, (2) nothing about running because I haven't been, (3) self-pitying posts, or (4) freaking out. I've done a little of that on Facebook, but more effusive writing is expected out of a blog and I just couldn't.
I will, however, tell you all that little boy improved his mile time by 20 seconds during this track season. His PR is now 4:30. And, I think he's taller. Big Boy is out in Ft. Lewis, Washington working as a civilian contractor for the Army as a forestry technician and wildland firefighter.
