Dorky and spazzy

I'm not entirely sure what perception one would come away with from this blog never having met me. I don't have the kind of objectivity it would take to perform that analysis. I think I can safely say that K doesn't see much disparity between the me she sees every day and the me who blathers in this blog. The-GF-formerly-known-as-TODL (new innernet acronym pending) disagrees. In her opinion, I present more dorky and spazzy here than I do IRL.

I live in my head, so I have the luxury (torment?) of knowing all, the me I present to the world (depending on who you are... my boss gets a slightly different me than my kids do) and the me who blogs. We're pretty much the same. Although, my GF is correct, I am more private than one would guess from the nature and tone of the stuff here on this blog. Why do I do it, then? Relentless exhibitionism! (Er, no.) I am, however, very dorky and occasionally spazzy. I also offer unsolicited opinions and will sometimes tell you exactly what is going on in my head, which is often just random nonsense.

I've checked the weather for Biwabik, MN (location for the State CC Ski Meet) twice so far. First, the forecast was for 26 and partly cloudy. Today, they're calling for 19 and overcast. My vote is for 19... 26 seems too warm! It will keep changing, so I'll keep checking.

My buddy M's annual luau is tomorrow. They usually manage to pick the coldest night of the year, but it seems we'll avoid that this time. Flourless chocolate cake ingredients will be purchased today. I've already eaten a ton of chocolate today, so I think I'll be able to forgo the temptation this time. I think I might have given myself a headache. Darn sugar.

We're having a little weather today. TODL and I went skating last weekend. I think I heard that we missed out on at least 10 inches of snow in January, but still, the snow is pretty deep.

TODL, hiding for the camera.
I wore my (allegedly dorky) jester hat with the bells. It's a skating hat!
